Napapiiri Organics

Napapiiri Organics is a joint brand that has been developed in the Organic Food Finland Export Group. The idea is to join forces and develope a brand that builds on the strengths of the Finnish and Nordic nature, organic farming and highly advanced food industry. The products will include both traditional basic food stuff organic products as well as new products from the companies' joint NPD efforts. Initially the focus will be on products based on organic wild berries from the North and cereals, especially oats.

The first products that have been launched are Napapiiri Organics Berry Preserves manufactured by Maustaja Ltd. They have been introduced to the Finnish and UK market during the summer 2007 and first batches have been shipped to Dubai and Malaysia. Next in the pipeline are Dried Sweetened Bilberry and Lingonberry from Kiantama Ltd and Flavored Hot Cereal Portion bags from Helsinki Mills Ltd. Results from our joint NPD project will be introduced in 2008.

A new design for Napapiiri Organics was be launched in September 2007.
